What is Asia Games Channel?

AGC for short, is a new video game shop that is located in e@Curve (formerly known as Cineleisure Damansara). It is said to be the largest video game shop in Malaysia(although I think I saw another shop in pictures which looks bigger though but not sure that shop is 100% supports original or not because this one is). AGC is said to be a video game shop that sells ONLY original video games and consoles. That means NO FAKES. This is a good thing. The prices seems to be great as well so this should be a great shop for me to return and buy more games in the future or to place preorder for new games.

What games do they sell?

I did not check out much as I was cosplaying but I think they sell mostly the current gen consoles games which is the PS3,XBOX360 AND Wii. I didn't see any PC games though so I think this shop only focuses on consoles games. They do sell video game accessories like fighting sticks and such. For Xbox360 owners, this shop seems to be another video game shop in Malaysia that sells original Xbox360 games as well. The other shop that I know that sells quite some ori 360 games is Gamer's Hideout which is coincidentally also located nearby AGC.

What happened last Sunday?
I went to AGC's grand opening on Sunday, it was a blast! Met up with my PMCG(newly formed Malaysia military cosplay group by my friend) comrades and some figure.fm and cosplay comrades. The shop was pretty big(not as big as I imagined but still bigger than most game shops in Malaysia). The opening wasn't that bad, there was quite alot going on like Tekken 6 tournaments, GT5 tournaments and some free play for Halo Reach and Kinect games to try. Me and my friends mostly went to walk around the mall and taking pictures with strangers(they requested that is). After that we went to the Maid cafe to see whats the fuss about and how was it. They are still new so there wasn't much stuff they had, even the 'Special Service', they only had spoon feeding. I only drank their choco orea which is actually not bad but not cold and it's pretty expensive(RM12 for a drink is crazy but for these kinda places, you would expected it to be that price). At the end I went back to AGC to buy a PS3 game which is Katamari Forever. It was RM60 so why not? Also, while waiting, I bumped in to the Eva cosplayer which was the one I suppose to meet up during CF10 last year. Theres always a next time heh? I'm planning to form a MGS Cosplay Group this year. It's going okay but most people had their plans full so I have to find more >.<
